A responsive but stingy landlady who refuses to invest while raising rent yearly, replacing broken items with cheap or used goods. The old, run-down house had disgusting carpets, an unfinished kitchen floor, a mouldy bathroom painted over, no curtains, and unsealed pipe holes letting mice in. Only essential repairs were done, poorly.
