The house is in poor condition: frayed dirty carpets, holed kitchen tiles, second-hand appliances, one inadequate bin for eight residents, mice, mould, exposed wires, missing lights, and a months-long leaking boiler. Cleaners entered rooms unannounced, used tenants' products, cleaned poorly, and items went missing; residents have no heating control.
Maintenance staff threatened the tenant, and cleaners were caught stealing after repeated complaints, mopping with dirty water and leaving the place worse. The agency dismisses complaints as lies, withholds HMO entitlements, and an untrained plumber left the bathroom sink constantly leaking.
A seven-bedroom house with an eighth external garden room that had horrendous mould the tenant removed and repainted at their own expense. Rent was high with a card electricity meter. After agreeing an early move-out, the tenant found belongings bagged outside and items missing, with the agency unresponsive and the owner threatening cleaning charges; advised to stay away.
