Stratford East Village is a thoughtfully designed, clean, modern area with green spaces like the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, plus gyms, cafés, shops and Westfield. Public transport links to central London and St Pancras are excellent. However, crime is an issue, including e-bike phone snatching, and parking is scarce and expensive.
East Village is modern and well-designed, with green space, spacious well-built flats, communal gardens, on-site gyms, and a nice community feel. Building management is generally responsive and maintenance prompt, but unresolved fire safety concerns remain a frustration. Overall convenient, with great facilities and transport links.
Management is very good, responding and fixing issues quickly, with many community-organised events and activities. The reviewer wishes for a gym but appreciates the outdoor equipment, climbing wall and classes, and likes having several places nearby to eat or grab coffee.
A nice, well-designed building with secure post lockers. Management is decent but slow on communal repairs, leaving the broken front door unfixed for months. The former concierge service is increasingly absent.
